Songs for Creative Process for Project 2




Step 1: Idea - The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald  - Gordon Lightfoot, “ In a musty old hall in Detroit they prayed/in the “Maritime Sailors’ Cathedral”/The church bell chimed ‘til it rang twenty –nine times/ for each man on the Edmund Fitzgerald/ “Superior” they said, “never gives up her dead”

Step 2: I want to make this fun - Girls Just Want To Have Fun – Cyndi Lauper,  That’s all they really want/some fun

Step 3: Limit what I want to do, know my limitations and move on - Jeans On – David Dundas, “When I wake up in the mornin’ light/ I pull on my jeans and I feel all right/ I pull my jeans on

Step 4: What process I should use, I decided to use sand molds, like I did in High School - Kodachrome – Paul Simon, “When I think back/On all the crap I learned in high school / It’s a wonder / I can think at all/ And though my lack of education / hasn’t hurt me none

Step 5: Lets make a statement - Talkin’ Bout a Revolution – Tracy Chapman, “Poor people gotta rise up/and get their share/ Poor people gotta rise up / and get their share

Step 6:  I finally knew what I wanted to do - The Sign – Ace of Base, “ I saw the sign and it opened up my eyes / I saw the sign “

Step 7: The original idea didn’t work out, so I have to come up with a new one -Circle of Life – Various Artists, “ Through despair and hope/ through faith and love/ till we find our place/ On the path unwinding / In the Circle / The Circle of Life”

Step 8:  Staying up Late to finish it - 3 Am – Matchbox Twenty, “It’s 3 am I must be lonely”
 
Step 9: In the end, it truly does not matter - In The End – Linkin Park, “ It doesn’t even matter how hard you try / time is a valuable thing / watch it fly as the pendulum swings / I tried so hard/ And got so far / But in the end / It doesn’t even matter / I had to fall / To lose it all”

Step 10:  I am finally done – Take A Bow – Rhianna,  “But you put on quite a show, really had me going/ but now its time to go, curtains finally closing / that was quite a show, very entertaining/ but its over now / go on and take a bow”
